A confirmation verse or baptismal verse is a Bible verse that is chosen by an individual or their family to mark the occasion of their confirmation or baptism. This verse is often significant to the person receiving the sacrament and serves as a guiding principle or source of inspiration for their faith journey. It is a way to personalize the experience and connect the individual to their faith in a meaningful way. **

To find your baptismal verse and confirmation verse, you can start by reaching out to the church where you were baptized and confirmed. They may have records of the verses used during your ceremonies. You can also check any certificates or documents you received at the time of your baptism and confirmation, as the verses may be included there. If you are unable to find the verses through these methods, you can try searching through any old church programs or asking family members who may remember the verses that were chosen for you. **

The requirement for a baptismal verse to be a Bible verse depends on the specific religious tradition or denomination. In many Christian traditions, using a Bible verse for the baptismal verse is a common practice as it connects the baptism to the teachings and authority of the Bible. However, some denominations may allow for other meaningful and spiritually significant verses or phrases to be used in place of a specific Bible verse. Ultimately, the decision on whether the baptismal verse has to be a Bible verse is determined by the beliefs and practices of the particular religious community performing the baptism. **
