The discount on the homework assignment is typically calculated from the gross amount. The gross amount is the total amount before any deductions or discounts are applied. Once the discount is determined from the gross amount, the net amount is the result after the discount has been applied. Therefore, the discount is calculated from the gross amount, not the net amount. **

It is important for students to complete their homework on time to stay on track with their learning goals. **

Homework assignments can serve as valuable practice and reinforcement of concepts learned in class. They can also help students develop important skills such as time management, self-discipline, and independent learning. However, excessive or busywork homework assignments that do not align with learning objectives can be seen as pointless and may not contribute to student learning. It is important for educators to carefully consider the purpose and relevance of homework assignments to ensure they are meaningful and beneficial for students. **

Homework serves as a valuable tool for reinforcing classroom learning and developing important study skills. It also helps students to take ownership of their education and practice time management. However, excessive homework can lead to stress, burnout, and a lack of balance in students' lives. Therefore, instead of abolishing homework altogether, it may be more beneficial to find a balance and ensure that assignments are meaningful, manageable, and aligned with learning objectives. **
